My dear bookish friend Lena @ bookfandom1001 has once again tagged me, and this time to take part in the Winter Wonderland tag. Thanks so much, Lena!☺️Her blog is amazing, so if you haven’t checked it out yet, you totally need to!
Anyway, winter is not my favourite season (the season with that status is fall), but I still wanted to complete this tag in order to get more excited for it. I don’t really like the cold, but the snow is quite beautiful, and I can’t wait for the holidays!
Without further ado…
Do you like the cold?
I just answered this above, but personally, I really dislike the cold. I can’t really explain why, but I just don’t like the feeling of it, especially on my fingers if I’m not wearing gloves.
Favourite part about winter?
THE SNOW!❄️Well, as long as it’s crisp and fresh and hasn’t been stepped on😬.
Does it snow where you live?
As I think you could probably assume, yes, it does. What do you expect, I’m Canadian!😜🇨🇦
Favourite clothing item in winter?
I love snuggling up in cozy sweaters, especially knit, wool, or fleece ones. I can’t really wear those types of sweaters in any other season, but in my opinion, they are the most comfortable!💕
Your favourite winter memory?
A few years ago in elementary school, my whole grade pitched in to help create a massive snow fort. It fit so many people, and we were all so proud of our creation!❄️
Favourite hot drink?
Best winter book to read curled up in a blanket?
I was able to find myself a lot of comfort while reading Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella, and I really hope it enters way more readers’ hands this winter.
Best winter movie to watch?
The first two movies are great to get you in the mood for wintertime, and I also included Alvin and the Chipmunks because it takes place around Christmastime, and it has always been a favourite of mine😉.
Do you do any winter sports? (e.g. Skiing, snowboarding, ice-skating)
I took skating lessons last winter, and I have to say, it did not tickle my fancy. Admittedly, I haven’t tried any other sports, but I really hope to go skiing someday.
(^^accurate representation of me on skates😂)
Favourite Christmas/holiday/New Years’ tradition?
Every year for New Years’, my family gets together with a bunch of our family friends to celebrate the forthcoming year. It is always a blast, and I love spending time with my family friends, especially since I don’t get to every day☺️.

If you’re tagged but don’t feel like participating, I really don’t mind👍. Also, I know that it’s actually about to be summer in some places in the world, so feel free to wait until your region reaches winter to do this tag!☺️
So tell me, do you like winter? Why or why not? What books do you like curling up with when it is cold outside? What are your traditions for New Years’? Let me know in the comments below.
